Kwilio Scheduling

Introduction

Kwilio Scheduling (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is built on Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information — and more importantly, what it does not do. We believe your employee scheduling data is private business information. We have designed the app so that your data stays yours.

Data We Do Not Collect

Kwilio Scheduling does not operate any servers that store your data. We do not collect, store, or have access to:

Employee names, contact information, or profiles
Schedules, shifts, or time entries
Clock-in/out records, GPS locations, or photos
Payroll data or pay rates
Messages between team members
Any other data you enter into the app

Data Stored in Your iCloud Account

All app data — employees, schedules, time entries, clock-in photos, and messages — is stored in your private iCloud accountusing Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest. Only you and the team members you explicitly invite through CloudKit sharing can access this data. We cannot access it.

Apple's CloudKit privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Device Permissions

The app may request the following device permissions:

Location (When In Use): Used to verify that employees are at the correct workplace when clocking in. Location data is stored in your iCloud account only.
Camera: Used optionally for clock-in photo verification. Photos are stored in your iCloud account only.
Notifications:Used to send schedule reminders and alerts to your team. Notification delivery is handled by Apple's Push Notification Service (APNs).

Analytics

We use App Store Connect Analytics provided by Apple, which gives us aggregate, anonymised metrics (e.g. total downloads, crash reports). This data does not include personally identifiable information. We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs.

Third-Party Services

Kwilio Scheduling integrates only with Apple services:

Apple CloudKit — data storage and sync
Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — push notifications

We do not integrate with any other third-party data processors, advertising networks, or analytics providers.

Subscription & Billing

Subscriptions are purchased and managed entirely through the App Store. Apple handles all payment processing. We never receive or store your payment card details or billing information.

Children's Privacy

Kwilio Scheduling is designed for business use by adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your Rights

Because your data is stored in your own iCloud account, you have complete control over it. You can delete all app data at any time by deleting the app and clearing its iCloud data in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Kwilio Scheduling.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
